During my first year of blogging, I created an infographic that highlighted how to spend a perfect weekend in Portland, Maine. Now that we’re all staying home and access to public spaces is more limited due to the pandemic, I thought it would be fun to create a new infographic focused on how to spend a perfect socially distanced weekend in Maine.
Even if we can’t currently visit our local restaurants, breweries, museums, shops and all the other amazing places that Maine has to offer there are still many ways to support our local businesses while practicing social distancing and having a great time.
The links to all of the sites mentioned in the infographic are listed at the bottom of the blog post. Wishing everyone a fun filled virtual weekend!

I miss Maine Blueberry beer – havne’t seen it down here in a while. Do they still make it? What are the best blueberry brews?
This whole post makes me want to come up and visit Maine again! Ah well, maybe next year! Also, I now want doughnuts. Mmm. Today in VA it’s supposed to hit 80 – guess instead of doughnuts, I’ll be making sweet tea!

Many of the craft breweries do still make blueberry beers especially in the summer months. I enjoy them too!
Enjoy your sunny weather. We’re still a little dreary up this way but warmer days are ahead.

I just last night picked up a bag of popcorn from our local theatre. They’re also selling nachos and cheese dip. Truly love helping support them. Can’t imagine not having a local big screen available after this is over. And popcorn isn’t too bad for us right?!

That’s a great way to support local businesses. I’ll have to see if my local cinemas are doing anything similar.

Hi. Im stopping by for the a to z road trip. I don’t remember seeing your blog on the challenge. However, I was more lax than I usually am in checking out other blogs this year and I am usually pretty lax. As part of my road trip, I read this your most recent post and A D R X and Z. (rationelle: the first, the last, my initials and X because it is the 24th letter and today is the 24th.)
I liked this social distancing post, the antique post and the dog post the best of what I read,
I hope to get back and look at your blog again. I appreciated your index as it was very easy to get where I wanted and see what I wanted to see.

Thanks for stopping by on the road trip. I am planning to do some visiting myself in the near future and will be sure to check out your blog. I love that they’ve added this option to the A to Z Challenge.
